Newby from Michigan

I'm an old Saturn guy and was part of the launch team back in 1990. I've owned several S-series cars and an Ion 2.

I just picked up a 2006 Redline with the competition package and ZZP stage 2. It appears to be one of 113 Red 2006 Redlines with the comp pack. The interior is exceptionally clean. There are a few other items that need attention though.

I'm planning to add the dual pass endplate with option B and a front mounted heat exchanger. I'll leave the 3.1 inch pulley for now.

I will also be adding LNF front brakes, a bigger radiator and ducting to improve cooling, then a roll bar and 6-point harnesses so I can take it to the Sandhills Open Road Challenge in 2020 for some high speed open road racing. Heat took out several cars in this year's event, so I need to add as much cooling as I can.

Has anybody added any ducting for the radiator or a splitter to their Redline?

What about vents in the hood?

Other projects: 1974 Nova Pro-touring and 1955 Belair just for fun

This forum is more or less dead. You'll get more info in the Facebook group.

Check out Phil Sheeler's car, he has a functional splitter, though his car is turbo. He did fence in the radiator for better cooling.

Check out my car, I just put in TrackSpec vents not that long ago. Also look at Phil's car and John Powell's car. All have vents in the only acceptable place.

Welcome to the forum … it IS getting smaller as the cars age. I'm one of the original owners with mine nearing 200,000 miles. Possibly the most fun car I've ever owner … and most certainly the most value! It has been amazingly solid and low maintenance! It is my every day car … and really fun on long trips!
