Any thoughts on these?
Saturn Ion B&G RS2 Coilover Suspension System - RS-79.001 by B&G Suspension
US Auto Parts - Catalogs - 2006 Saturn Ion-3 Shock Absorber and Strut Assembly Performance/Accessory
I was looking at them before I saw the post here and ask my question
If I go the Pedder route, is there a kit to replace the whole strut for each side or how does that work?? <-- n000bcakes

|C0MM||^^^ Pedders are now second to YYZ springs. Alot of people here are on the fence about them though because they bring the car back to stock ride height. If you're more concerned about performance and drive comfort, go with YYZ. If you're looking for more of a drop with alittle less comfort and performance, Pedders will be your best bet.|

Suggestions for doing Pedders now
I just got the word back from the GM service dept that my struts are leaking aka I need to replace them. They quoted $800 for replacing them but I figured if I have to replace them anyway I should pay a visit to my ppl
The questions are: Are Pedders still the choice from the forum? They hinted that the seals themselves cannot be replaced alone. So that leads me to believe that I will have a list of items to purchase for this replacement...any chance someone could supply me with a list? (thanks ahead of time )

Thanks, John. I think I got it.
If you have instructions on your Opt. B, you can email 'em to me.

thick goes on the bottom, and thin goes on the top of the bearing. I thought I published a how two here...or is it on Maven's site? or mine? lol
bottom; this old picture shows two stacked there and you can see there is not enough of the centering ring to retain the bearing. Thats why they have to be seperated...
and thin one on top of the bearing ( no spacer shown) use a little grease or silicone seal to retain it, or stick it on here:
also look closely at this blurry old picture, taken with my old camera. the strut hat has been rubbing on the spring hat. With no spacer it locks up good with not enough spacing it still binds.
hope this helps. I really gotta organize the website better and email instructions with every kit
ALSO the spring hat tab should be positioned at 11 o'clock towards the engine, as you look at the strut, from the side of the car.

|Hyperion||Okay. I got the Powell spacers but two are thick & two are very thin. Which go on top & which go on the bottom of the strut bearing?|

The drop was perfect for what I needed. Ya 19s. and the rain guards were from Saturn before the died.
