Zzp entry level turbo kit

Looking to possibly buy the kit. Hard to beat the price. Just curious if anyone on here has tried it out yet? Was considering doing the Saab swap but the td04 isn’t the most capable turbo. Seems like this kit would better suit my goals of 300+whp and leave me room to grow turbo wise.

Considering that it's brand new and this site is mostly dead now, I doubt you'll find much information. AFAIK, there's only a few cars with the kits and they were the test mules.

The full turbo kit works great (see my sig), so I can imagine that the Stage 1 works well too.

If you want bigger power later, you may consider piecing together a kit and going with something like a 252 for now.

There are, of course, upgraded versions of the K04 you could look at down the road if you just wanted to go with the basic kit for now.

I appreciate the reply! I did notice not much activity hear anymore which is unfortunate because these are still great cars. I was mainly interested because my redline is my daily and want to keep it somewhat reliable so I wasn’t looking to push it too hard, but the entry turbo kit will give me a little more than a stage 2. And I like turbos more hah.

Finished up the install on my kit a couple days ago. Just waiting to hear back from zzp to tweak the tuning. It’s running good though. Only running about 14-15 psi until I get the wideband on, then I’ll turn it up some more. Overall I’m very happy with the kit. Some parts were a bit of a pain but overall it wasn’t a terrible install.

Sweet! Do you notice a difference in power levels between the turbo vs supercharger?

At the current boost level the bottom end and mid range already feels better, top end feels about the same as the stage 2 kit I had on. However once I put a wideband on and turn it up some more that will change hah.

Does anyone sell a single a pillar gauge pod for these cars? Need to mount my wideband somewhere and can only find dual or steering column pods. I have the comp package so I don’t wanna lose my boost gauge and shift light.
