Cobalt ss/tc suspension

so i guy local has his stock struts and shocks laying around and he said hell give them to me fir trade of my stock shocks and struts, im thinking this is a great deal. hes on coils and wants my stuff in case of a problem. and my friend and i have a deal worked out where id get his sportlines for trade of some work. this should be a great handling package especially with a rear sway bar. my question is, will i need anything or will it be peaches and cream?
besides the obbvious spring compressor..

The sportlines were made for the cobalts only. If you attempt to put the springs on your IONs struts or even with the cobalt struts, the top hats are different... you will need to order some special shims from Powell Raceshop, otherwise it will rub, create friction and cause loud suspension noises. You can order all the pieces to complete the top portion of the strut with the shims from Powell to save the headache.

My car topped out at 140 miles per hour, this morning.
I need NOS. Two of the big ones, and I need it tonight.

Its because of the springs, cobalt springs need the shims, otherwise the FE5 struts will work with the ION top hat and ION springs in the front.
