Lol, except I spent an hour trying to figure out why it wasn't working.

Q: What's the difference between a bolt and a screw?
A: First, you screw. Then, you bolt.

u r right GC Op prolly swapped his nuts and used the new cobalt nut on the top of the tower.
Today I was researching cobalt hats and looking at my conversion, and I found a better hat that does not come from GM its not OEM but looks the same but is better in critical dimensions for shim use and bearing centricity, and has fractionally more clearance for the Redline top mount so thats in my new kit upgrade...

Kinda neat that I found some better parts to make it all work...

I had to use the cobalt nut to secure the spring into the strut, the ION one would not work with the parts I had. We tried like hell with an impact wrench and it would not bite enough, used the cobalt one and it was snug flush against the plastic lock crap in the nut.

My car topped out at 140 miles per hour, this morning.
I need NOS. Two of the big ones, and I need it tonight.

Well it took three weeks to get my rack spacers, so i guess its a crap shoot. Fortunately we do have other options.
