I bet they did...
Intake scoop mod, exhaust, pulley & fuel pump w/injector upgrade.

Time will tell, but who can wait?
supposedly they did that with only intake, exhaust and a better tune, didn't hear anything about pulley upgrades at all.

not too far off if it isn't underrated
They probobly did intake, full exhaust ,and ecu. They are probobly giving the crank hp,so that would be feasible. With the scdyne header custom exhaust intake and an ecu upgrade we should be around there.
Plus, it's a one-off tuner done for SEMA....GM Performance guys puty voodoo on this one that wouldn't make it to production - it's for bragging rights over the SRT-4 and to boost intrest in the Cobalt - the old "Race on Sunday, Sell on Monday" thing that started in the '50s...

"Win on Sunday, Sell on Monday". Sorry, devoted NASCAR fan of old here.

don't even think they touched the header for that, i'll try and look up what i had
here we go

says intake and exhaust work from the cat back, i'd also bet that not restricting boost and a nice and new tune got here up where she was.

i don't expect this type of power to be too far off at all
Yep - that was before NASCAR was NASCAR, and was just "stock car" or "Winston Cup" racing.
Well what they did is some light head work and some ecu upgrade with larger injectors and a pully. Hope this helps.
Where did you read that?

how'd you know that? according to the people at sema it was as stated above, but any official info regarding that would be helpfull
