98 Sc2
I dont have any pics yet, sorry!
My Black sc2 has about 77k miles on body and about 26k miles on the motor. The engine does not eat a lot of oil like a lot of saturns i have seen. 5spd Manual, manual windows and locks, power sunroof.
Mods:
AEM Short Ram Intake(red)
Hotshot Header
Catco 2.25" Hi-Flow Cat
2.25" Custom Cat-Back Piping
Muffler is small and comes with Silencer so its not too loud or ricey
Front Strut Tower Bar
Interior:
Custom Carbon-Fiber look shift boot
Red Carbon Fiber look shift knob
Racing Seat Covers
I painted the interior panels, it turned out DECENT but it has some faults to it, the back panels are black and havent chipped but some of the front panels i painted have chipped from people kicking them and what not....there painted red/black in the front.
System:
04 Alpine CDA-9825 CD Player XM Rdy Source Headunit
4x Infinity Kappa 63.5i Speakers
1 12" Sony Sub without a box and not wired custom placed inbetween the 2 rear speakers
Problems:
No 98 is perfect...here is a list of defaults..
-Minor pebble size crack on the lower part of the windshield on the drivers side, not very noticable
-Service engine light is on because an o2 sensor is tripping it for some reason, mechanic tells me its just because of the hi-flow cat.
-Failed Inspection because of the SE Light
-Dash panel next to the front windshield is cracked, not noticable when inside the car
-Seatbelts are a pain to get to go back up, have to feed it sometimes.
-Front bumper has some paint blemeshes that ARE noticable, had an incident with a kid riding his mini scooter into my parked car...long story lol
-Rear bumper has paint blemished, got a love tap from some moron while waiting to pay a toll on the GSP.
-Drivers side side mirror was somehow hanging off one day when i came back to my car in the parking lot, so it was bolted back in with 3 bolts
Car runs great, has a new radiator, new thermastat, front tires have decent thread left on them, back tires have a lot. A/C is very cold and the car warms up quickly. Has a new OEM front sway bar. My father is a mechanic and has taken car of this car for me since i got it.
