they are designed this way to keep cost down. so people can actually afford them.
and bending/twisting adds quite a bit to the cost.

In my eyes #2 is the cleanest design. Great idea there.

Are people really having a problem with these breaking? Mine are 6 years old and perfectly intact.

That being said, I'd probably still get a set. I like #2.

Lol Jordan yours are gonna snap now.
They break fairly often. Plus, these will look snazzy. A few powdercoat options or raw for polish/anodize. I think polished and gloss black pc will be the best looking.

#2 with a 4" high tensil carbon steel double-edged blade integrated into the back of the loop as well as quick release for the whole assembly. O ya, blade should be spring loaded as well.

i might be in for a set if the price is right. Whats a ballpark estimate on option 2 since it looks like its winning all the votes???

Finally a piece that looks like a handle can be used like one! My passengers will be uber happy to get bitched at for one less thing..

I have a couple places still waiting to get quotes back from. I'm not trying to make a huge profit (if hypothetically I was selling these for a profit, forum rules ;) )
I want everyone to be able to get a set
