www.summitracing.com search for part # SUM-630125

Summit makes some good stuff but I wonder how something this cheap can sound? Anyone ever hear one?

It's just a knock off of the Dynomax Super Turbo muffler. For the price it's a good muffler. I have the Dynomax on my car, and I think it sounds good. It's relatively quiet at idle, and it gets a deeper tone with higher RPMs (no buzzy crap). Then again my car isn't supercharged though.

I'd get a Magnaflow or Borla or something that is stainless steel. If you live in a climate where snowfall is frequent, an alumnized muffler will last no longer than 2 year before rotting.

I bought two summit universal mufflers when I mocked up my exhaust on my Vette, and they sounded sooooo bad. I used them for 2-3 months, and bought new ones, it was awful....

Thanks for the info, ill problably go with a Borla muffler when i get the money. I had a warlock exhaust on my CRX and it was nice. It was quiet as heck when just driving around but had a nice growl when you floored it.

I had a Borla on my '02 sc2 and it had a nice tone to it (not obnoxious) and got throaty once you opened up the throttle.Borla ProXS
