I was intested to see how many folks were still interested in the pod project now that we know that LoTek will not make them for the A-pillar.

It would probably be a two space pod since I don't think we could fit three on there.

If you are still interested, chime in and I'll start a new list. Once again, we'll need a minimum of 30 orders.

There is a company producing these for other cars, saw a blip in my latest copy of Sport Compact Car. If they make them for cars that have the cluster behind the wheel, they should not have a problem making them for our cars. If they are like most companies they don't know what a Saturn ION is so they have not considered it yet. I'll post the site when I get home and can check the article out again.

Per their site:

"Most of our products range from $40-$60 ea. Shipping charges and color matching is extra. "

Although, I don't think we'll have to worry about color matching. Their molds are black in color. Same as our steering columns.

i'd be in for something like those, either two or three, but it'd be nice if the top was smooth so the blended into the rest of the interior better

I really wanna get an A-Pillar still but I may end up just getting those ones off the site someone posted there not bad looking unless you guys come up with a diff design and get it made.

OK, here's the deal. We have 14 people interested at this point. We need at least 30.

Plus, there will be a two month wait for them to get made once the order is finally placed. Do you guys want to wait that long? If not, I was thinking of just buying a two gauge pod and mounting it myself. Wouldn't have to wait 2 months+ for that and I think I could make it look pretty sharp and it would cost less. It's up to you guys though. I'll stay in and go with this one if everyone still wants to do it and doesn't mind the wait.
