I'd like to see some OGs get back in here. Be nice to see some traffic! If I had a tow rig, I'd go get mine from 6 hours away. I do miss it 😭

Yessir. I got into it a little late. But it took me almost 2 years to find one after I found out about them. Oh well. It was fun while it was running. It ran when parked. But it's now been parked 6ish years

I'm rooting for you. I did the time chain guides and all theat jazz for 2 reasons 1. to see if I could and 2. I couldn't justify paying $1200 for what I did. I love this car but it's still a Saturn so I always find the less expensive way. Besides I should k ow how to work on it...no ody in my town especially mechanics k kw what it is
I also started cleaning mine up and updating things recently. Trying to see what I can get out of the stock m62. Almost 19 years in north east weather has done some work on it though.
I finished a rebuild on my 05 last December and four days from it going down south (WVU) Mother Nature decided to throw a curve and snapped a HUGE tree in half, took out the Redline a Subaru Forester and my mother in laws rental car “Merry Christmas” mechanically it is still good, but the body is done 😭 it has (GM Stage II, ZZP complete SS header thru full exhaust, new timing chain, new Power Stop performance brakes/Rotors/calipers, new SS brake & Fuel lines, new Spec performance clutch w/ Aluminum flywheel, K&N cold air intake. I am sure I am forgetting stuff. I will try and post the pics, I haven’t decided if I am up for hunting out a new body or not. 🤔
Ouch that really sucks. Sorry to hear it.
Sounds like a disaster man, sorry to hear!
