I believe I launched at @2000 but I also had reduced the front tire pressue to 24 psi.

I have been drag racing for over 30 years and I just can't figure out the above statement. You know exactly what the tire pressure is but you "believe" you launched at 2000 RPM. The launch RPM is very important. Why aren't you sure? I know my launch RPM each and every time I stage. Just wondering. Don't want to belittle anyone.

Everytime i launch at the drag strip it just kinda happens. I dont pay attention to the rpms usually, i just go. Dont have to much time to stage at our track, so i have to pretty much feel for it and work the clutch while im going. I usually get it around 1800- and 2200 depending on how much time i get.

I just listen, If i watch the tach I miss the tree, worked so far.

Yea really.. hard to watch the tree and the tach...

It sounds as if you are accusing Barry of something -- Not a good conclusion to just jump too.

I've been down the dragstrip many hundreds of times, and I dont always pay attention to the tach, and even when I do, between concentrating on that and 20 other things, you can easily forget the exact RPM range you were at.

Everyone races different, just because you pay attention to the tach, doesnt mean everyone does.

I am not accusing Barry or anyone of anything. I am waiting for the timeslips like everyone else is. Chill out.

I belive Barry 100% his kids admit it as well so he cant be too full o crap. Dont get me wrong Barry has a few screws loose but something factual I would belive.
