yup... I've splice the hose that goes on the top of the SCpclear9061 said:nka you should be reading round 12 psi stock. well what boost gauge you got? the one that you have to splice the hose?
That's not right....nka said:yup... I've splice the hose that goes on the top of the SC
I got ~10 PSI (maybe more) near the cut-off
people told me that 8 psi is on break in! I will raise to 12 psi later so it's all normal ?
Around what RPM I should get 12 PSI ?
It could be that the ECU has had some slight program changes between 04 and 05. I've noticed on our 05 that the boost in first gear goes to about 8 lbs at approximately 3800 rpm then just south of 4000 rpm's it drops instantly to zero and stays there at higher RPM's. In second, and third it appears to keep rising though I've not had it over 5500 RPM yet and will probably not take it beyond about 5500 until it's got 1500 miles or so on the odometer. So far I've not seen more than 10 lbs on the comp. package boost gage, but as said, I've not taken it beyond 5500 rpm yet....Sp00ner said:Yea, there's days I dont' get much over 10.... MOST of the time it's hitting 12 now... it gets to 10 quickly though...
I would check all your lines again, and move the boost gauge to the line that's directly connected to the manifold.
The ECM/PCM is different between the 04 and 05 but the 1st gear boost restriction is on the 04 and 05, also next time you are out, get to third gear and stand on it. It will go to 10 real quick and by about 56-5700 you should start to edge 12.Lin Evans said:It could be that the ECU has had some slight program changes between 04 and 05.
