Anyone get a scratch in their RL rims?!? I unfortunately got about an 1 1/2" scratch on the flange of the rim from driving down a gravel road while at work. Is anybody aware of a way to remove (buffing & polishing) the scratch?

I've only had the car (an 04 Blue RL leftover) about two weeks and this scratch is quite noticeable. I traded my 02 Z28 Camaro to buy this puppy and never got a scratch on the Z's rims while driving this same stretch of road. What's up with this forging? To say the least, I'm bummed  I also posted this thread on another forum to see if I can get additional input. Thanks for any ideas.

I was hoping for some ideas on correcting the situation, but apparently I exceeded your ability to grasp that! Luckily there were others who posted replies on other forums with more constructive solutions.

By the way, you can still send the Kleenex down to South Florida and I'll use it to clean the buffing compound off my rim. Thanks!
