Camshaft Sensor work

I just had this done today, and it feels as though my car has more balls now than it did before. Not being much of a car whiz, I'm not sure if this is expected, or whether I'm just dreaming. Is the camshaft sensor work supposed to improve performance?

The camshaft work fixes a problem with the veh leaking fluid from the camshaft. That should not increase power. However, if they did the ECM reflash, then that has helped out a bit with performance.
My RL is going in for the sensor replacement and ECM flash on Monday.
The probably did the ECU fix while it was getting the sensor fixed.
What should I complain about for the ECM flash? I have to get the gasket done and want to kill two birds with one stone.
When I brought mine in for the cam sensor they automatically did the ECU update so just ask.....tell them about the 1st gear bucking and extended cranking if they ask you what is wrong.

I didn't even have to ask. They jsut told me that is what they were going to be doing when I made my 3,000 maintance appointment.

I just had it done today. The ECU upgrade is actually a seporate VIN campaign that they will do as soon as you bring you car in.
not more power just more managable power. The ECU retune makes the power more consistant and gradual instead of all at 4000.
