Alright. I know we're supposed to have the same engine and drivetrain layout. But like it's been brought up, it's hard to find our exact gear ratios. It's lead to believe that these are correct:
http://www.gmcanada.com/ssi/static/.../saturn/icoupe/icoupe_options.html#Mechanical
right?

Then the Chevy site lists the SS ratios as being:
http://www.chevrolet.com/cobalt/specifications/

I think this has been discussed before, but I couldn't find it. Do we have the same exact transmission here that should have the same gear ratios? Or has the gearing been changed around between both our cars? I'm just really confused at this point. If those numbers aren't right on the Chevy site, then that would help explain why in that SS dyno video how it got up to 223 hp, through the lower correction factor...
Any clarification here peoples??

I would say those are correct. But the Colbalt has 18"rims. So they that why the may have chaged the ratio. We are faster than the Colbalt.
