Anyone have any NEW information on the redlines with the competition package arriving? Anyone drive one or know someone who has?

-I am looking to get an 04 for real cheap but if this package makes the car that much better im going to end up buying an 05 with the package.

as far as i know the package will cost 1470 and production was suposed to start the 2nd week of february.

I asked my Dad (who works at the plant) to do some checking. Here's what he found out:

There are no Ion Redlines being built currently. Scheduled to resume the end of March.

Production of Ion Redline with Competition Package scheduled to begin April 11th. Could be even later depending on a number of factors.

I couldn't wait, so I got a 2004. Saved several thousand over the '05, as well.
