how did you connect to the map sensor?fi-r_head said:haha thats right fellow rl owners i have made a custom cold air intake for the redline i'll have pics up by saturday
so do you actually replace the airbox?fi-r_head said:used a dremel to bore out a hole that was already in the piping and a metal clamp to hold it in place. its aprototype and iam hoping to make more if i can i would sell them for 100 bucks of course it would have a k&n filter (like mine). but first i will get some dyno numbers
was the top of it attached to the map sensor? haven't actually ripped it out to find out, just blindly believed it was...fi-r_head said:airbox is totally out i think that was the hardest part of the install
was the top piece of the airbox connected to the sensor, as in being one piece, or are they seperate pieces (the sensor and the top portion of the airbox)?fi-r_head said:the maf is on a plastic tubing thats connects the rubber hose coming from the s/c to the airbox.
p.s. i love the whine it makes now very nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
