When it comes to service, I am as guilty as the next guy about bitching when things don't go right. Too often we forget to be as equally responsive when somebody does a great job. So, having said that, I can't say enough good stuff about the service team at Saturn of Rockford, IL. I just got my R/L back for the I/C pump rewire TSB, camshaft sensor recall, and latest ECU reprogram. Not only does the engine run more smoothly, but the hesitation in 2nd is gone. As soon as I pulled in, Bob Augustine, service mgr., told me:" We like to take a liitle extra time on the recall to get the sensor just right. " So he called Enterprise and had a loaner brought over; all without my asking, I might add. On two other service calls, where it appeared they might have to keep her overnite, he did the same thing. In the past, when I have brought to his attention, issues we discover on this site, he is always interested in them. Never gets bent out of shape like," how dare I tell him how to do his job" crap. I guess I didn't appreciate how top notch he and his crew were until I read some of the other owners' experiences with service on this forum. I definitely know better now! :D :D

Yea, hats off to the Saturn dealers. I have had it in twice with no complaints so far. They deserve more credit when all you really hear about is the bad situations people have.

Still love my dealership. I will keep the car just because of them.
