Are we running the same 2.0 as the saab 93?

Not exactly. The basic block is related to all Ecotecs. But, Besides that most of the stuff is different. Internals, Head, Valves, Cams, etc.

Funny, though, when I took the spark plug valley cover off of the valve cover to paint it, "SAAB" was stamped on the back of it...

We are running the same 2.0 as the Saab i do believe just different types of forced induction.

My understanding is it is the same engine. GM simply removed the turbocharger and used a supercharger instead, 'cause "dem 'mericans like torque, ya see?"

The internals should all be the same. The engines are actually built in Europe and shipped over here.

I think the 93 is the same motor as the WRX. both horizontally opposed 4 cylinder engines. Are engine is slanted at a angle but not completly horizantal. Is the WRX/93 2.0 completly horizantal or just angled?
