dual magnaflows Bitch. 3 inch pipe with 2.5 in and out of the mufflers. Its 3 from the cat into a 3 inch resonator which makes it 100x quieter. It was real raspy without it. And it splits into 2 2.5s into the magnaflow stragiht throughs.
Exhaust mods?
What kind of exhaust systems, or mufflers are you guys putting on the RL????????

i had the last section of pipe upped to 2.5 and a borla turbo muffler model 40980 i paid 125 for the muffler and the install was 90 bucks for everything
How do they sound. I don't consider the RL anything near a '"Rice-burner", so do they sound like them at all?

That was my plan. How's the sound?
I imagine if your using the stock resonator and small pipe before the axel its just a little louder. Mine on the other hand is deep and very throaty.

never like a mucle car but great for a 4 banger. When I didnt have a resonator because I thought the mufflers would do the job is sounded like a rice burner. its deep man I cant even begin to tell you how it sounds. If i had a good camera I could get a vid but the sound always sucks. I like it better now it sounds like a v6 with a decent exhaust then a 4 banger with a can.

So, are you using the resonator or a muffler?
And does Magnaflow make a system for the PL, A bolt on one?

mines all custom no kit here. It cuts after the cat and get all new pipe 3 inch in/out resonator 24 inches long into a 3 inch pipe that goes behind the axel then drop to 2 2.5s into 2 magnaflow straight through mufflers with a 2.5 out.

look in the performace thread for all that info. There are many pics of the setup and the mufflers are just a 2.5 in/out magnaflow straight throughs.
