Yikes! I thought mine was bad. I've only filled my tank up twice but I've gotten between 270 and 280 miles each time. That's about 80% interstate driving.
im getting about 25 mpg mixed driving.... usually have around 230-240miles on her when she goes under 1/4 tank.
The couple of times that I've filled up already I had about 220 miles on the trip when the gas light came on. When I filled up, it let me fill up just under 11 gallons, which means there's still about 2 gallons left when the light comes on. So I'm averaging about 20-21 mpg on the brand new engine...driving sometimes conservatively and sometimes harder. This is on the brand new engine, so hopefully when it's broken in, I'll start seeing better numbers, and know when I can fill up a little longer after the gas light comes on. I'm afraid to fill up now after seeing prices raising 10-15 cents more...(about $2.40 for premium  )
i got about 19.5 mpg last time i checked it, before that was 21, but the 19.5 was after 2 nights of hard racing and hard driving.

on this tank im getting alot better, 1/4 of a tank has gotten me about 100 miles of highway driving.
Ouch! I'm getting on average about 24-26 MPG my personal best was on a 300 mile road trip where I did 29 MPG. I try not to let the "low fuel" light come on when I can help it but when it does come on I atleast have 250 miles on the odometer. I shift out of 1st and 2nd kinda early, less than 4K RPMs. With Gas prices around here near 2.20/gal (yes I know its more expensive somewhere else) I may shift even earlier
I've had mine since November and I can't seem to get above 20 mpg. Granted, I drive a 2003 Ford Focus wagon as a company car and every time I get in my RL I'm tearing through gears. It's my stress relief.
Wow I wasn't really that happy until I read some of these. Been getting 24.5 to 26 mpg all the time. I was thinking maybe because I don't have the update yet is the reason I'm getting better. Doing this sometime this month,,been in the gargage for the winter.
yeah, my gas mileage did decrease after the update, but doesnt bother me in the least
After about 5 fill-ups (I haven't see the fuel light yet): low was 20MPG, high was 24MPG. I've heard it get's better after the break-in period. Is that true or just a myth?
On a related note, I put 89 octane in on Friday to see how it drove, and since it was 2.23 vs 2.37 a gallon. I would guess that I lost 3-5 mpg with it. My 60 mile round trip usually takes $6.00 in gas (93 octane). With the same $6.00 in gas, cheaper gas mind you, my low fuel light came on before I even got home, normally it lasts until the next morning on the way to get coffee. I could have been pushing it a bit harder, it's kinda hard in rush hour though, but it sure seems like it used a noticable amount of extra gas to get back and forth.
Interesting. I consistantly got 22 - 23 mpg since I've owned my Redline, but after the PCM update it actually increased to 25 mpg. I have a mix of city and highway and get on it quite a bit.
WOW you guys get great gas milage. I have yet to get more than 200 miles out of a tank and thats not beating on it. When I beat on it I only get about 160 to 170. I guess I better take mine back in and find out what is wrong.

Yeah, I would.

Mine consistently gets 250 mi+ out of a tank. The best I've gotten is 275 almost all highway w/ the cruise control set and the worst is about 225, and that's dogging the shit out of it every chance I get.
I'm getting about 23-24 mpg....if i let the tank get down real low I can get about 280 out of it...most of the time I fill up when I get right around 1/4 with about 220-230 miles out of that....most of that is highway driving.
lately 22pmg, personal best 24mpg, this is city/highway combined mpg.
What RPM range does everyone shift in? I personally don't like reving the gears too high because the sound gets a little annoying past 4K (unless I'm hot dogging it which I don't mind the extra attention) I normally shift around the 3.5 K range for 1st and 2nd gear, I'll go 5K for 3rd gear but then I tend to shift directly from 3rd to 5th as an over-drive gear.

You should be able to shift every gear around or below 3k rpms. I seem to do that and I'm getting 21mpg consistantly tank after tank, but I'm still stepping on it pretty hard when people wanna play.
Wow. I usually end up putting about $10 in the tank every day. I guess that's just due to my driving style. I don't really like the idea of sacrificing acceleration to get better gas milage.
