Good News and bad news

The Good news:
It appears that the O2 sensor is quite accurate according to our wideband. This means that those who purchase our PowerPaq Piggyback system can wire it to the factory O2 sensor and get an accurate Air/Fuel ratio reading to tune off of.

The Bad news:
Well it looks like GM did a good job tuning this car. The air/fuel ratios are pretty close to what we would have them set at. Also the car uses an odd tooth crank trigger and we can't advance this signal. This means that we can't advance the ignition timing. Also judging from our data logs the car doesn't run a whole lot of igntion timing. There is a back door to this. By increasing the fuel system we can pull back on the MAP and MAF sensor voltages. In turn this will make the car think there is less load and it will increase the ignition timing.

Where do we go from here?
Our next step is to produce a hub and pulley that is 19% smaller, and develop a fuel system to handle the 20psi of boost. The injectors in this car are quite small so we will see if we can source out larger direct replacments, but I think we will end up converting the car to a return line fuel setup with a raising rate regulator and external fuel pump.

Oh well back to work for me. ;)

isn't 20 PSI a bit out of this superchargers efficiency range?

M-62 on a laminova intercooled 2.0 reving to only 6500 RPMs? Hell no and we will log the AIT to confirm this.
ok, I was just under the impression they were designed to run to about 15 psi of boost efficiently

you are the expert :D

Well it really isn't PSI thing, it is more a CFM thing. It all depends on the engine you are putting it on. Perhaps a larger engine with a higher CFM capacity (3800 V6) this would be the case.
Ive read about 18 psi stock and running fine during durability testing. So with better cooling charges and fuel delivery, 20 shouldnt be too bad. :)
Ant/Psi-Fi crew, I speak for everyone when I say thank you for taking the time to work on the Red Line =)
qusetion can you or can you find a source that can make a system like tuner toys? In the meaning of can we select differnt boost levels on the fly or are we stuck on whatever you decide? only for the reason of gas milage and longevity.
have you looked into the computer limiting boost at all???
will you guys be doing anything about raising the rev-limiter?

I'm getting all sentimental now. Yes, I appreciate it too. But they're business people dude. They're doing it to make money, not so you can rub their backs. . .

with superchargers you are limited by the pulley, no boost controller per say like turobs, unless they wanna play with the bleeding boost apparatus, but that would just blled power, not lower AIT's I beleive

<== no expert, just 'book' knowledge

wow sorry for being excited that someone is going to be coming out with aftermarket parts for our cars. Yes I know they're doing it to make money... I've talked to these guys before on the phone. Next time asshat, if you're going to make a comment like that please take it to the PM.
Hey guys... Cmon' lets keep it civil hear. This is a forum to express knowledge of our cars. Lets not turn this into a forum where there is nothing but fighting. Back on topic, when are all of these things going to be ready for purchase?? :D
