I'm curious if you can tell me what mufflers Barry has on his car and where the exhaust is split into duals. I read that you didn't like the sound of yours until you added a resonator, which mufflers do you have for duals? I did like the way Barry's car sounded when he left, I didn't get a chance to pay attention to your's though. I'm getting ready to line up an exhaust system and trying to figure out what is best. I do not want the high pitched ricer sound. Some have told me that Borla mufflers will have a lower tone to them over a Magnaflow. Also, instead of going to the rear, did you investigate the possibility of putting the dual exhaust outlets just ahead of the rear wheels, ala the old corvette side exhausts? It seems that eliminating all the 90º bends will all Hp. ( if I remember correctly a 90º bend is the same as adding 8 foot of straight pipe to the system)

I think the Borla tips are a big part of the tone of those. They're expensive too. Alot of Camaro folk I've met have run Borla's, and if they don't get the tips, they don't sound the same. At the same time, I've seen people run a Borla tip with other mufflers to mellow the sound out. At $80 for a tip it better do something. So there's a thought for ya, not to interrupt too much!

He had magnaflow mufflers on his car as well. We both have primarily the same setup. The only differnce is the tips and he went with 2.5 to the split under the car and I went with the 3 inch. I decided that after the split 2 2.5's will flow more than enough to occupy the single 3 inch feeding it. As well the resonator I used was a generic unit the guy had. It is 24x3 in/out. It made all the differnce. It made my car rumble instead of a high pitched honda raspy whiny annoying sound. Im sure you understand what Im getting at with that.

Also going out in front of the rear tire would reduce my clearance even more. Im nout sure I have enough clearance right now for 3 inches so Im pretty sure unless you like to scrape things I wouldnt try it.
