That's it??? No shit it pulls harder. We want details. :D
Its just a little bit faster

we are gonna spend a bunch of time tommorrow on ironing out the tuning, i am also looking into getting into the factory code to tune the damn thing myself as the base programs... in a single word SUCK

This week we'll also have the turbo, flanges and enough tube to start up the twincharger project among other things we are working on :D

Sorry I can't give out more info. I don't want to piss off the Vendor. The one I rode in was not twincharged, but it did have a tiny pulley on it! 18psi = fun.

I spoke to Mike yesterday at Psi-Fi, he was driving the RL when I called him. Very nice guy and happy to answer questions, well the simple questions that is. I had a lot of them but due to product privacy he could not answer 90% of them. I was most curoius about the performance of the car at 18 pounds and he seemed confidant that the kit will not dissapoint. I believe it. I'm anxoius to get parts in for summer. It sounds like the hold up on product availibilty is because of GM and their comming out with a reflash every friggin week (I know that is over exadurated but it seems like every week!).

Thanks guys for supporting our cars in the aftermarket arena!

also, it was stated that most of the stuff (minus the pulley) will be usefull with the twincharge kit, right? that said, i might just have to get this beforehand to bump up the excitement, hopefully you guys work out the tuning issues you've been having with the stock setup

was the blower alot louder with that pulley?
You people and your blower noise... as long as it whups the bejesus out of the car next to me, I could care less if it was dead silent! I wouldn't mind if it sounded like a pissed off tornado at the same time, but it's no biggie...

I want that son of a bithc to scream like a team of banshees. But thats me all the attention to the saturn in the front please. Also will the twin chargin parts be sold as parts for those of us who already got the kit you are currently making. I assume all the parts will be reused like the fuel computer, injectors, and so on. The only minus would be perhaps the original pulley or a bigger one even.

It wasn't that much louder than a stock Red Line... but you could hear the whine earlier in the rpms (smaller pulley).

This may be a dumb question, but I'm curious to know if you measure the boost of a twin set-up as one boost level after both chargers, or two levels, one after the turbo and one after the supercharger? Which one would have higher boost responsibilities? Is the total boost level going to exceed 20 psi? Anyone familiar with these set-ups please chime in.

when we are tuning we measure both, but the boost you actually are worried about is total boost from both compressors ie intake manifold boost. In general you will make more power if you run more boost from the turbo and have the supercharger act as the spooler and for the bottom end of the powerband.

cant say what boost level we will run as of yet until we get it on the car but with the redlines built motor from the factory i dont see any reason why we wont be able to run over 20 psi!

I'm sure you have heard that GM has contracted Gravana to support the Cobalt aftermarket. They plan on having a 300+hp twin charged system as well. Is this in any way affilated with you guys, or a seperated endeavor all together?
20 psi total , so that would be what 2 from the roots and 18-20 from the turbo. What turbo do you have parted for the application, or can you say?

Just saw the Gravana release, we are in no way affiliated with them but I may be contacting them to possibly work together, we already have the project underway and will have it in production well before SEMA. Judging from past experience i can say our kit should put down over 300whp. we have the turbo spec'd out to accomplish this task but we cannot disclose what it is currently, but it is perfectly sized on both the compressor and turbine sides for this application. combined boost will be 20+ total so whatever the supercharger doesnt put out the turbo will add.

but once the turbo is spooled it will take most of the parasitic loss from the supercharger. It would no longer be compressing air it would just be in the way. I cant wait.
