i plugged the vac line back up a couple days ago. i really didnt like how hard it was crashing into the limiter. i do have the airbox bottom cut out. i'd like to fully remove it though, i dont think having the bottom out is enough.
I have a question. I know everyone seem to be getting there pulls done in 3rd gear. Now since this isn't a 1:1 gear ratio wouldn't it throw the dyno off and give falsely high numbers?
you run a dyno to what your closest to 1:1 gear ratio is. Its in between the 3rd and 4th on this one. A 3rd gear run will give you better #s as a 4th will give you lower #s. From those numbers though its only a math problem to figure out the differnce.
so from my numbers and simple multiplication you would have roughly 204 to the wheels. The gear you used is 1.35 to 1 and 4th is .98 to one. so for a 3rd gear pull without the corrections you need to subtract out the extra .35% or simply divide your number by .035 to see your correction is rougly 7hp.
