Does anybody know the actual number for the ION RL's produced in 04? I heard it was 5000 but I just want to make sure cause it doesn't seem like that many.

I heard 5K as well!

Same thing Dodge did with the 2003 SRT4 5K for the first year and it sold well so they increased that number to 10K for 2004's and back down to 5K for 2005's

If I remember my old boss right, it was 3,000, and a limit of 6 per dealer until '05.

i was under the impression that production was limited to 5,000, whether or not it got that high, i dont know. but i dont think sales have gone too great for saturn, and am thinking production will either go down or stay the same for '05,

I just got done talking to my dealer and he said he heard that they are cutting the production down to 1500 for the 05's cause sales weren't that great and they are getting to launch the new roadster in a couple of years.
