yeah right I dont see this going well. There are a lot of BS answers coming from this one. Just remember they are about 360-450 a month depending on your credit. Most of the time your yearly wages have nothing to do with your payment. And in case you dont get overtime your payment is going to be 25% of your monthly pay according to my figures and if your like eveyone else tack on 200 or more for insurance. Thats my answer.
unless you put some money down your payments will be high. i put $0 down and have a $421 month payment (not including insurance) for 60 months. i did give them my car, but between the rebates i recieved and what i still owed on my car it came to $0 down. very good credit helped too.
But.........you're a "turboaddict" and the Redline is supercharged.
more than a little and less than a lot!
I'm going for a 5K down payment after I sell my current car and save alittle.
turbo conversion is what I plan. I'm very handy with a welder :D

Nick,

With 5K down you could easily get your payments in the 2's.

Turbo conversion? Awesome!!! You'll definitely have to post progress and pics with that one. :)

oh and back to the thread. I work at walmart........ You can afford it... But im soon to be in the airforce where ill make more in basic than at walmart, so ill be a happy man soon. Just imagine, racin on the runway!!
I'm a computer repair/networking guy. 20 years of age and make $16.50/hr.

5,000 downpayment, 18k out the door. 400 a month. 9% interest

9%???

You should have held out on them for 0%. That's what I did. I told them I wouldn't buy the car unless they gave me some cash incentives AND 0% and walked out. Two days later the dealer called me back and that's what I got.

I got the car for just over 19K and pay $400 a month with 0 down and 0 interest for 60 months.

My credit rating is just mediocre as well.
Oh...I'm a soon to be laid off aircraft mechanic for Delta Airlines.

I make really good money and am gonna severely miss the nice paychecks twice a month. :(
Is everyone here on the 4-year plan? I traded in my 1997 SL2 for about $2500, took all the incentives they would give me, and my payments are lower-mid $300's/month for five years. Oh, and my insurance is only $98/month. I make $16.50/hour as a Quality Control Tech in the chemical industry--lots of over-time $$$$.

OMG YOU ARE SO COOL WILL YOU FATHER MY CHILDREN PLZ?

Anyways, on topic. My payment is like $398 a month. $1000 for a down payment, including trade in.
I'm a saturn sales consultant and with my employee discount and my $3000 trade in and with the 0% for 72m i pay 258

if you're going to drop 5k on it, try and find an '04, get it cheaper. i put 0 down, and my payments are 398/month plus 950+ for 6mos insurance. just dont go out and buy a car that's going to cost more than 33% of your take home, not smart, gotta live somewhere and eat too
Until Thursday(December 22) I work at John Deere and I make $15.50 an hour and that's way more than enough. I had a trade-in that I went negitive $2,000(1998 supercharged Regal) but I put $1,000 cash down on top of the $5,500 in rebates and drove off the lot paying only $18,300, also with an extended warrentee(sp). My monthly payment is $350.18. I got my loan at John Deere Credit, which I very highly suggest to anyone, for 5% intrest. My credit score is only a 570. Basically, it comes down to how badly you really want this car! :D
