You must have had a trade-in. Cause the insentives are NO WAY that big to get you to 13k. On '04s you have $3750, GM Employee Disc is about $1500 (not $2k), There is no xtra GM Emloyee discount like there is on the '05s. Military Disc $500. So that's a savings of around $5750. A Red Line w/ a roof is about $22k. $22k minus $5750 = $16250. You must have had a trade worth around $3k. There is no way the insentives are $9,000. I have worked here for over 9yrs, I know. :D

Congratz on your new Red Line though!

I just noticed this. You say you got an extended warranty and it was still $13k?!

*starts to think the dealer sold you a regular Ion QC w/ a body kit and called it a Red Line!*

Look under the hood, is there a supercharger under there?

*not being sarcastic, I'm serious. There is nooooo way you got a Red Line w/ an extended warranty for $13k.*

i agree wih scooter I beat on those poor guys for a while till we came to a good number I was very upside down in my old car but still paid less than some of the guys I have seen on here. If it went for my trade I think I would have been in the 16+ area.

I was able to get mine down to 14k from 19.5k. Whenever they called me up I just hummed and hawed and the deal kept getting better. I wasn't realy trying to fake them out either, I was just deciding between the redline or the srt-4.

Bs

I'm gonna go out on a limb and call bs on this thing, because when I went to my saturn dealership they said that I couldn't use my GM bucks on a new saturn.... I just bought one with 5K miles on it from Minnesota for 15000 and that was the best deal in the midwest.

Saturn does not except the GM card! (the one that earns 5%) We (Saturn) do except the new GM credit card that only earns 1%, I think it's called "family first"?? Did you put $3k down that you don't know about? Here's another thing, it's a GMS deal, soooo there ain't no monkeying around. A Saturn dealer will NOT take a $3k loser deal! If you still insist that you "only" paid $13,600 w/ an extended warranty, then I would stick close to the phone, cause the dealer will call you to get you back in to either get more money from you or have you return the car.

Now the deal that Blu_Redline got was staight-up (back then) not now.

Sorry but, your deal just doesn't add up and math has been around longer than anyone of us.

Price

I bought mine in duncanville TX. Mine was fully loaded all but the big spoiler. It was on display at the state fair,as a display. It had a mark on the headliner,The window sticker was 23,100 and I got it for 17,005 out the door.So I think I got a good deal.I had some fast cars in my life, but I really like this little car.I plan on modding it as much as possible as long it don't void war. or hurt the gas mileage to much.

DirtySanchez,
Accually I wanted the silver one but they had already sold it, but they had a blue one that was driven by a Saturn Corp. Executive for 5,000 miles. But sorry to say, it's gone too... It'll be at my house in about a week and a half.

The sticker on mine was 21,030. I got $1500 for my trade in and $4500 in incentives. So I got mine for 15,030 oh wait extented warrenty $1000. So I got mine for $16030. And have been have'n fun since. Does it really matter what you paid? As long as you bought a piece of your childhood dream. So who really cares what Tom Dic* or Harry payed. :D
