OMFG!!! I got out of boot not that long ago (USMC) and I couldn't even imagine being able to take a piss by myself let alone use the internet.

I think he is in the Air Force. That would be par for the course. That is why I chose the AF, the food, my own dorm room, good food, women, and I still got to shoot at people and blow stuff up.

Oh come on, I got to sit in the turret of a barely armored Humvee behind a .50 and get sniped at and have trash cans blow up next to me. Would you really want to miss out on that?

I don't miss getting shot at one bit. And yes I did get shot at in the Air Force. (Besides I live in Detroit, I get shot at more here that when I was active duty) We also had the scariest situation any MP or SP can possibly walk into, the dreaded domestic dispute. I will take Bagdad trash cans and snippers over a pissed off wife anyday.

I do miss carrying a gun to work though. Ahhh....memories.

Domestics suck - responded to several where the guy is wailing on his lady, we restrain him, and the lady jumps on us or starts throwing stuff - I'm thinking "wait a sec, wasn't this guy just beating the hell out of you?"

i went through in 96 and we didn't get to use the internet. whats next a "TIME OUT" card.
nice to see alot of armed forces(past and present) on here. i am in the air force currently deployed in al udeied qutar. thank god i'm going home before it gets hot.i thought i was in the 9th level of hell out here last year,when i got stuck over here from april till august.

I'm still in the reserves. I've got a fly boy friend of mine on his way over there. He's an intel. bubba. I'm just a machinegunner. I was in Djibouti in the summer of '03 140 is hot...real hot.

Well this is just turning into a DOD thread. Cool.

Jim, here is one for you. We get a "My husband hit me come arrest him" call. He is the service member and she the spouse. So we show up. She had a nice bruise on the side of her face. So obviously he hit her. He is bleeding and has a bump the size of a softball on the side of his skull and a severe concusion. After figuring a few things out and her yelling at us to arrest him, we discover that the only reason he hit her was because she hit him with a CAST IRON PAN. In the head. (Why, no idea, but read on and you will see how unstable this woman is.) So we have the two of them seperated, and my Sgt in all of his wisdom takes her into the kitchen and we have hubby in the living room. Well next thing we know she is yelling at the sgt, and 2 of us walk in just in time to see her stab him in the leg with a fork. I will repeat that, a fork. She hit bone. And then she hit the floor as 3 of us pummeled her and then arrested her (2 counts aggrivated assult with intent to do great bodily harm, domestic abuse, and assulting a police officer), and sent the sarge, and the husband to the hospital. Sarge got a few stiches and the hubby got a divorce.

Never let a pissed off with in the kitchen. EVER. This is why domestics are scarry. I never feared the husband. I'm a guy and can predict them somewhat. But the women are the unknown variables. SCARRY SHIT.
