I did a search and only came up with older threads without pics.
Does anyone have a picture of the best place to install the vacuum tee in the line near the manifold ?
I am not familiar with parts nomenclature so I was hoping a pic could be provided.

Boost gauge install?????

hey guys i was looking at some threads on how to install gauges but it did not show me from the sterring wheel. and they didnt explain it much on the engine part. can someone please help me by explaining a little about how to install a boost gauge and a volt gauge to my car from the sterring...

Try that one. I believe that's where I tapped into on my car as well. Mine is 6 hours away otherwise I would go look

I’m about 30mi se of Ft.Worth- thanks for the offer.
Here’s a pic
Install went well, just time consuming.still need to hook up gauge light.
Changed 80ml of charger oil (that’s all I could pull out)
Changed spark plugs
Changed the crappy dead intercooler pump for ZZP model.
Car runs great.

I did an add a fuse with my gauge light right in the block in the foot well. Fairly simple. Think it was to the sunroof.
Sounds like a decent day! Car should be boosting happy again!

I'm about 2 hours east of Dallas give or take destination

I hooked up the light to the Accessory/batt.
Is there a wire I can tap that is a direct connect to the dash lights ?

Probably the hazard switch. Iirc it turns on when the dash lights do

Ok, I spliced into the Grey/wht wire on the Hazard switch (only power to this wire when lights are on). Ground wire to general ground connection.
Now the gauge light only comes on when I turn on the lights and I have dimming control as well.
