Hi I am new here and don't owne a redline yet but was looking for one as my daily driver, with some modifications of course, and I also hope to bring some knowlege from my past expereince with other supercharged cars to the forum.

But I have one question about the intercooler that gm claims to have put on this car from the factory, could some one please explain to me how this works.

Thanks,
Brett

is it a plate that mounts under the supercharger that the water flows through, if so this car has tons of potential.

It's a Laminova set up with three circular finned cores. For info on them see this PDF for information. It also uses a large charge cooler heat exchanger just behind the A/C condensor ratiator and an electric impeller pump to circuiate coolant.

That's one of my SES codes, "charge/coolant pump relay somethingornother"

What is it?

Sound like your intercooler pump relay, or maybe the pump itself.
