It got chopped up, for sure....I thought about a sawzall, but I had arm surgery two months ago and didn't want my arm freaking out while weilding a 20 lb saw with an 8 inch reciprocating blade, on my brand new car...I rotated the airbox several times, after removing the intake tube, and cut that sucker in half with my trusty 4" grinder (cutting wheel attached)...

I didn't notice a huge sound difference, but I didn't do the actual "Barry Mod" - instead of relocating the MAF, I cut the air box top's shelf, leaving the round part only and the MAF in place, and attached my cone filter. Drops the filter 6" lower to the ground and I didn't have to mess with the MAF.

I now have the K&N proto type cold air filter installed on my car. Dave Cortez in the pic installed it. By the way the filter is now in the driver side front fender.

I hope they will offer it in different colors. I have begun to replace all the vacumm line to blue lines. Looks good. If not I will get it powder coated or somthing....

I would expect the price to be in the $250-$300 range! As far as colors, I believe they will only be polished.
