went to SpeedTek's dyno day on the 27th of november for the first time. my redline is all stock with about 1600 miles on it. here are the results.

Run #1 203.3hp 185.6ft/lb
Run #2 201.8hp 186.0ft/lb
Run #3 193.4hp 182.4ft/lb
max hp on all runs was right at 6500 rpms when it hit the rev. gov.
max ft/lb was around 4500-5000 rpms

The car was well up to temp. from the drive to speedtek. i was going to let it cool for a few but they wanted me on the dyno 15 min. after i got there. All runs went back to back with about one min. between each run.
i will try to get the graph on the net a.s.a.p.

very nice, makes me wonder what the actuall calculated output is when you subtract the supercharger pull and so on.

I've been trying to get mine to the dyno but haven't had a chance yet. You beat me to it. :p I was going to go to Alamo or Redline motorsports. Both are here in Arlington.

Side note, what color is yours?

those are the lowest dyno runs yet i believe, do you drive it hard often?

just wondering because maybe your computer is used to you taking it easy, and that's why they're lower, also, what kind of dyno was it, a mustang dyno, a dynajet?

same here with mine, but then again, that is the mileage that got a 14.5 in the 1/4. so maybe in spring we'll see some better times

The dyno is a dynojet and numbers are at the wheels. All the miles on the car are highway miles to and from work and I baby it most of the time. I want to break it in good before I start driving it hard. I have only opened it up maybe 4 times when I ran a crx, tiburon gt v6, focus, and just for fun. I thank the numbers are low cause it was driven for around 15 min. on the highway to speedtek and everything was hot. thats why I wanted to wait longer before I ran it. I could be wrong.

Nice numbers man!!

Makes you wonder WTF GM/Saturn was thinking when they made the 6500rpm rev limiter on the cars doesn't it...looking at past dyno runs it looks like the Redline's peak HP would be around 6600-6800rpms so a 7000rpm rev limiter would certainly be nice!

Any new news on a re-flashed ECU yet guys?

how hot can it get during December?
you want the car warmed up anyway so everything is in regular operating mode.
did you install the K&N or did i miss something.
i have the BLue RL also, Color is very nice,
also with the K&N filter and i'm currently using Royal Purple oil.

Uhm, maybe they were thinking the engine would fly apart at higher RPMs? That's generally the reason they put rev limiters on.

A supercharger will make more power the faster the RPMs spin up, since it's based off the engine speed, so naturally the peak will always be the highest RPM point reachable.

Nice numbers btw! That's what they claimed at the crank, same as the SRT's, claimed HP is actually WHP!

14.5 in the 1/4 is not too shabby either, time to put the hurt on the imports =].
