I didn't think there were red 04s
lol Nope... for $14, I can't complain.lol you didn't change the oil yourself?
:scared:caliper seized.
:scared::scared: WHAT???? I need brakes, like... yesterday?it happened to dani. the rear caliper doesn't release fully. by tightening the cable, they just took up the slack, but the slack is from the caliper end.
so, when i get home i'll write the procedure for adjusting the cable unless someone wants to search for it, since i've posted it a few times.
what you want to do ryan, is loosen the cable nuts at the handle under the boot, then go to the back of your car and push the lever on the back of the caliper back down towards the rear of the car. then stop using the e-brake until you can get a new caliper(s) or you'll cook your brakes. whichever lever doesn't go back by itself without you pushing on it is the one that needs to be replaced.
There weren't any.I didn't think there were red 04s
Is that the "how to be a ricer thread"? Yep, I think it is...OMG!!!! he covered his headliner in RED fabric. It looks horrible.
I responded to you on facebook.ryan, your brake caliper might not be fully seized, so like i said, pull up the brake handle boot and loosen those 10mm nuts. then use a screwdriver or something to push the lever back down on your calipers. then don't use the e-brake until we can get you a new caliper. while you're in there, take a look at your pads so you have an idea of how thick they are. they're probably only half worn, but look anyway.
ya FS thread! So the dude with the twincharged RL, is ditching the twincharged LSJ, for ...........an LNF.
