I have been tinkering with my intake and finally got it done today. I Used the stock MAF housing and just cut the mounting cup off where it orrigionally seated on the factory air box. I picked up a piece of 3" formed 90 degree silicone hose and fitted it to the MAF housing (with some heavy coaxing, maf is a bit bigger than the silicon tube). I picked up an open face K&N filter and in she went. No clue on increases but the sound of the rotors spinning is definately there :D .

Heres some pics:

I only have about $95.00 into the whole thing. I'll post some pics of it in the car later. Next project is an alky kit.

The parts I picked up from a company that dose not sell to the public. I get them through my city account and can only buy parts for personal use.

The filter is an K&N RX-4990
