I guess us Canadians have a fetish for rims or something
. But regardless, here are my new rims Katana Passions 18", riding on 225-40RZ-18 Wanli's (don't know much about the tire brand).

With these new rims the car seems to handle a lot better, specially when changing gears (before it would sometimes pull to one side with changes at high rpms), seems more stable in turns too. But this of couse could just be because I've been riding on winter tires for the last 4 months
. I could still spin the wheels off the start and in between 1st and 2nd, so I don't think there is much torque loss.
As for weight, I measured the following:
stock dunlop tires 23.6 lb
stock rims with winter tires (dunlop graspics) 44.2 lb
Katana's 23.4 lb
I'm guessing the stock rims are around 20 lb, 3 lb difference is not bad.
