If one was to be made where would you like the filter to end up?
also what about replacing the hose from the TB to Maf, and then replace after the MAf to the wheel well, keeping the stock maf inplace , basically keeping the cost down, but still being a full CAI.

or would it be better to make a full 3" piece all the way?

the filter would end up behind the driver side "fake" air inlet in front of the wheel well

is there even enough room to put a CAI there? I noticed the Windshield fluid reservior is right where you want to put the Filter at. Im assuming you would have to pull the bumper off to put the CAI on then. I think where the filter sits right now it gets a descent amount of cold air from under the car.

If it is anything like the QC then if you take off the passenger tire, and that wheel well/splash guard/GINORMOUS piece of plastic held on by snappy clips. It would go right above that plastic pannel. I actually like that location, keeps it out of harms way.

there is plenty of room, the filter would end up to the drivers side of the radiator, if you look through the opening in the front facia, to that side, you will see the filter when there is a CAI on

Well it won't be anything like the regular QC because there's one problem. We have a huge blower right there, lol. Anyways, it'll end up where Vita said it is. I just want a damn WAI...

Anyone who's dropped in the K&N or other filter will know that area very well... if I knew in advance you could move the cover off the radiator hose it would have made things MUCH easier :(
moving the cover off of the radiator hose won't make anything that much easier...
