Hey guys I've been at this for over 7 months now and have poured more money into my 04 ion redline than I can stand. I have posted before about it but never could get anything then what has been tried. The issue is that when I am turning right (only right) it makes a grinding noise and it kind of sounds like its hitting something to create a tick like it would if you put a card in the spokes of a bike. This noise increases, not only necessarily with speed but with RPMs as well. The second I turn left it stops. Oh and it also sounds like it is coming from the drivers side front wheel well. I have replaced both wheel bearings, the drivers side cv axle, checked rotors and brakes, even replaced the swaybar because I finally gave up and brought it to and dealer and they said the stops on mine were worn and it was moving when I turned, so 500 dollars later guess what? It still made the noise. Anyone have any suggestions? I am really at a loss here and would love to start upgrading my car but don't want to until this stops. Also once this noise reached its full it hasn't gotten any worse within the past 4 months of regular driving.
