can u post a link?...i would like to see the whole article...thanks in advance.
I think it would have been an even better comparision between the redlinejohnboy8221 said:they did a side by side comparison between our cars in there road test edition. all in all it was a pretty good article overall score the srt-4 only beat us by .9 points i think if they tested it with a redline with the comp package we would have came out on top. the srt-4 took us on all of strait line speed tests but the redline owned all of the handling, braking test. with both cars there 1320 times where slow 14.5 for the srt-4 and 14.8 for the redline. We are diffentaly coming up in the world they said the redline would trounce on everything in it's price range except the srt-4
yes, the acr is basically a track prepped car.Vita said:why is that, the only performance enhancing item in the competition package is the LSD which is stock on an SRT
doesn't the ACR setup include suspension components and smaller wheels, etc.?
i hear ya on that, but it'd be nice to see what they'd do if an lsd were in the redline. hopefullly GM will come with a suspension upgrade package like the acr package.BLUBYYOU said:yes, the acr is basically a track prepped car.
I was just following the orginal posters line of thought, " if " the redline had
the comp package, with " if " the srt had the acr package.
all factory options right?![]()

not too much.Sp00ner said:I've heard of the ACR package for the SRTs, but what does that change on them? Is it mainly a suspension package, or is it more?
That sure sounds like the article that came out at the begining of the year in the Annual Road Test, used that mag to pic the RL! Could it be that it's an old mag that they just keep on the shelf 'cuz it's "special"?johnboy8221 said:it's there annual road test issue, the only thing that i didn't really like about it was how the writers kept refering the fast and furious and using the words street cred intirely too much. the way it was written they seemed to be more biased twords the srt-4 but ours cars spoke for them selves and they couldn't ignore the areas were the redline shined
it's from the road & track annual 2005 road test edition it's not a regular issue, it could have been out for awile but it's the first i've seen of it only thing date wise on it is "display until july 19, 2005" in small print buy the upchbko181 said:Ya that article was from last year, sorry i didnt mentiont that.
