myself and about 4 or 5 other cars will be making a rod trip to savannah next weekend.if there are any rl's in the area maybe we can meet up.maybe i'll get to see just how fast i can get the car.

if every thing goes well we will be taking a z24 cavi,sti,sc2,rl,srt4,and a few others and the sad thing is that mine is the only one right now that isn't show quality.Kirtsky said:

Ran across a Silver QC yesterday. Lowered, with some body kit on it. Went by at first and thought it was another Redline. Had to swing around and get next to it. Nice looking car though....
Dont worry about the show quality of the car man. It's new. You have done more that I have and i have had mine since November. Sunday I may look at putting in a grill. Driving in this morning, I saw a piece of gravel bouncing and shot over two lanes to avoid it. Started me thinking what would happen if a good size rock made it through that front opening.

road trips in a RL suck.......I drove back home to New Orleans for new years and it was the most uncomfortable ride ever......the recaro seats are made for going fast and thats about it....when you sit in them you cant move around.....tying to get comfortable is a bitch

I drove mine from FL to NY about 2 weeks after i bought it. It may not be the most comfortable thing for long trips, but there are definately worse. Unless you have to sleep in it at a welcome center on the highway to avoid a hurricane. Then you are right it is not at all comfortable.

That's why you take the long way when you go somewhere and take the twisty way.
When I was riding sport bikes a lot, a long trip was dotted constantly with stops just to look at a view, and we never took the most direct route.
same can be done with the Redline.

i've seen that car,it's nice.a guy in a srt4 is telling everyone he beat a rl in a race this past saturday. was it you? as far as i know we're the only 2 in the area (wr).it was between 4 and 6 saturday afternoon.Kirtsky said:

Nope, wasn't me. I have only seen a couple of SRT4 around town, and have never been next to one. I did take out a Silverado SS on the interstate the other day. getting on in Byron, he was behind me and tailed me down the ramp. Hit 75 and he jumped acroud me and floored it. Well, I caught up in no time, went past him and just walked away.

trip was great.there was a lot of cops on 16,but i was able to get to 135 before some idiot jumped in the lane in front of me.

Thought I saw you saturday, up in Macon. I was on Mercer near Olive Garden and there was a blue Redline. Pulled up next to him at the bank. he was from Savannah. Guess just visiting. It's funny, He had two small kids in the back, and I think a carseat. Mine has one, I think yours had one, now this one also. It should be an option to match the interior.
