Hey, Guys this is my first free moment to update everyone on the status of the headers.
I'll be making a trip to check them out and/or pick them up this weekend.
I'll also be having another dyno test done if the local shop has dyno time this weekend so I can get video along with an actual print out this time.

Again thanks for hanging in there with all the delays. I assure you the headers are worth it.

And wow, cant believe Scdyne updated in a new thread all by himself...
Its nice for the update for the suckers that bought them a year in advance.. but have you noticed a certain trend? Hes not really "updating" because there IS nothing to update.. because nothing has changed. Its always "next week ill get videos and dyno", "next week they get polished", "next week I'll check the shop"... Its been next week for months now guys, I'm sorry.


They should do this with all products... buy a year in advance and save 100 bucks!

Why is everyone busting this guy's balls? Here he is working to put something out that everyone seems to want and all I see from the majority of people here is negativity. If you don't want to wait then maybe you should make it yourself. Oh wait, you can't...then just deal with it.

These things take time and resources to develop. Would you rather him push the product through to suite your acceptable time frame and end up with an inferior product?

I see "Group Buys" and "Pre-Buys" go bad all the time. I'm not a big fan of them (has nothing to do with SCDyne at all) -- just my past (bad) experiences.

Yes I do admit the delay. Actually, I always have said I am bothered by the delay. I have never regretted buying though.

Lots of people have met this guy. He has a strong presence in the Saturn community. I haven't personally, but I have spoken to several guys that have actually met him at some Saturn events. And I have spoken to several other saturn owners that have used his products and they have been as promised. So we dont' really have anything to be worried about. I think we have right to be annoyed at the delay, but that's no big deal.

probably because he promised some people delievery by christmas and most people get annoyed when business do not keep promises. While I undersatnd why its taking longer and the difficulties involved, he broke a promise and was not quick to get on the board and provide information which is not the cleanest way to run such a business, again I understand why things happened as they did they did not look great for him for a while.

People spend 340 bucks or whatever and expect results and have seen nothin.

Reminds of my trying to get my TB core charge back from SMS.

I've been on many auto forums for years, and I see even the people who EVERYONE claims is super reliable have deals go bad. Once the person gets the majority of the people on the forums trust, they have a huge group buy and dissapear with the money. I'm not saying thats what this guy did, I'm just saying thats why I dont trust these things.

i see where you're coming from, but sometimes you have to take a risk to get a product developed. making 20 sets of headers isn't cheap, and that's why we'll reap the reward of a cheaper product. i'll tell you this, when i make my intake, i'm not going to front out the cash for 20-30 to be made, i'll ask for each individual that wants one to pay for the costs up front, and if people dont like that, they won't end up with one, or will end up paying more for a one-off later on down the road, either that or they will end up paying big $$$ for one from AEM or K&N. give the guy a break. shanenathan said it best when he said there is a reason to use a credit card sometimes, which would be a situation like this where you just dispute the charge with your card company, a multi-billion dollar company is not anything to mess with when they want money from you, they'll take all you have and then some, and it won't even hurt their pocket, where adam would only screw himself to not pay up, as i'm pretty sure he isn't a multi-billion dollar company.

also, he stated that he was taking payments with paypal so the buyer would be protected. so while there are situations where the buys go bad, there are even more where they go good, you just don't hear about them like you do complaints
