how can i change the shifter knob and boot, i dont know if i have to replace the whole shifter or not since that safety reverse feature, please help

Shift boot easy to replace shift knob is either buy new shifter or figure how to modify the lock out so you can go in to reverse still.

thats what i was afraid of, the rubber around my knob all ripped and tore off so its just bare plastic and annoying so i was seeing if i could change it without having to switch the whole shifter

O ya you can just get a stock knob and replace it if you want.
