Thank God! My dad is already planning to get a SKY now I'll tell him to wait for the Red Line version!
Where did you here that? I would expect it comes out next year, seeing as the sky isnt even out yet, why would it take that long?slt said:Rumor is that it will come out in 2007 as a 2008 model with the Saab turbo ecotech tuned to put out around 240hp.
I'm telling you, the Solstice was developed first, and it's not out yet either. It had a projected development date somwhere around 2003, it's 2005 now. What anyone who saw the Solstice in it's inital autoshow tour was told, was that the car was near development, this is 90% of production parts, it will be out next summer, maybe next year at the latest. Three years later it's still nowhere to be seen.BlackRedline04 said:Where did you here that? I would expect it comes out next year, seeing as the sky isnt even out yet, why would it take that long?

That Solstice has been coming out this fall for 3 years. Sorry, really pissed about the lag on that car!LJandBucket said:Yep, that's a picture of the standard one from the Chicago Auto show.
Solstice comes out this fall and Sky late Spring '06.

No, I don't. But even if it's not official, it's still something to be excited about!JDRedline said:This information comes from a thread under the catagory "The Rumor Mill."
Do you have a link to GM saying it's official?
I thought this year is the last production year for the red line??...so I heard...I read it on a post a while back.slt said:On a side note, I would be willing to bet that this 250hp 2.0t ecotech migrates to the Ion redline and cobalt SS in a year or two.
