Hey there, my 2004 RL has always started up quickly, but now it takes a few seconds...I don't think it is a battery issue. I have noticed a fluid spot when I am parked, so I believe there is a leak but I am not sure from where. The interior smells a bit like fuel. Anybody familiar with what this may be? Thanks!

You may have a rusted out fuel line. Common area is back by the tank

I had that with my ion 2 about 8 years ago before my redline

the fuel smell was very strong inside the car and I took it to the service center and they replaced the fuel line

it was about $400 - probably over priced but gas leaks are no good either

Agreed with above, look for a wet spot by the drivers rear wheel after it sits a few hours / overnight.

Thanks for your help - it was a hole in the fuel line
