hey STIman I appretiate the concern for the idiocracy of a fellow subie and I love the STI's have from day one. Many thanks and hope to see you on the street some day maybe a race will be in hand.
I'm making the same request lol. I LOVE watching IRL vids, but damn people, a guy can only watch the same ones over and over (and over, hehe) so many times!STIman said:just one request....people make a few more videos![]()
If I can get my hands on a digital video recorder i would..hell i might use my digital camera and use movie mode too...lol. This friday I may be racing an '04 Celica GTS...it'll be funSTIman said:people make a few more videos![]()
Lookin' forward to the possible race vid... but we already know the outcome lol. Without F/I, Celicas are total pooches. I know: I used to own one.XeroState said:If I can get my hands on a digital video recorder i would..hell i might use my digital camera and use movie mode too...lol. This probably has something to do with the demographics of WRX/STi owners. Most of them are probably not still in high school, especially STi owners, unless you're in a rich area with parents that will buy them anything. Even then, the immature high schoolers (for the most part they're immature, and that's who we end up seeing on here causing a ruccus) tend to look past these types of rides and go for something else, like the SRT or something else.TransAm52804 said:Between the Evo drivers and the WRX/STi drivers, does anyone else notice that the Scooby drivers appear to have a more realistic view on everything? As in, the majority of them are actually level-headed, intelligent people (WRXdriva is just an idiot). A lot of us muscle guys (or hell, just true car enthusiasts) seem to share the same opinion.
me too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!XeroState said:If I can get my hands on a digital video recorder i would..hell i might use my digital camera and use movie
13.9 @ 89?? Did he miss 4th and just coast or something?Tom01SC2 said:Wow, thanks for the respect. You're a true tuner if you ask me, I respect all cars who want to go fast. I love going from a roll against a WRX, it's a lot of fun to beat them. Trapping 95+ really helps, the Redlines like to pull up top. But from a dig it isn't the greatest, hands down to the WRX definitely. I raced one at the track and he ran a 13.9 @ 89 mph. Damn, would have been great from a roll![]()
Tom
Nope, but he took off like a bat out of hell. I talked to the guy and he said he didn't let up. Was trapping that speed pretty consistently through out the night. WRX's IMO tend to fall flat on their face in third gear. But you go from a dig and they make you look silly if you have a FWD car, lol...TransAm52804 said:13.9 @ 89?? Well at the dyno day in Moorestown in a couple weeks, I will try and get a video of at least one run on every car in attendance. I'm just gonna need major help getting the video onto my computer and onto the net and then onto the forum. But that video of the RL walking that VW (1.8T?) was nice, as was the RL hangin w/ the EVO to the end. NOTE: they were both the same video and that's one of the 3 that I've seen. The other two I saw were of a dude showing of the incredibly loud and almost orgasmic whine of his supercharger, and the other was of a dude pacing a Z28 Camaro and an M3, 2 cars that some of my friends think are "untouchable" in that SRT-4 kind of way. Sorry to the respectable SRT owners here, that comment was aimed at those idiot owners that come here and troll.STIman said:just one request....people make a few more videos![]()
