Nothing too major, sorry if my experience is disappointing but anyway. I was traveling south on 75 in Dallas coming home to Arlington. I noticed some headlights in the rear view come on me kinda quick, and then back off a little. Not thinking much of it, when it was convenient for me I got over. You can always kinda tell by the headlights if its worth messing with, know what I mean? I thought it might've been a neon but wasn't for sure.

So as I got over he pulled up next to me quickly. His BOV confirmed it was an SRT4 before I made a visual. So as soon as I heard that I got in behind him, right behind him. He got a jump on me and was slowly pulling away. I'm not gonna make exscuses, I'm ceartain he would've left me if not for us approaching traffic and slowing down.

This wouldn't happen again. Being right behind him I could see when the lanes would open again and shifted into 3rd. We were off again only this time he didn't gain much. Maybe he wasn't trying as hard, I don't know. But in the end when slowed by traffic he got over, rolled down his window, and gave me the elusive thumbs up. . He was impressed with the car and I with his dimeanor.

nice. the srt4 with a good person shifting the gears will make our cars look slow. Not bad just slow. Good games man keep it up.

I havent had a run in with one yet (redline). I drive an srt-4. I saw one in my rearview one day but i was parked eating a cheese burger. He circled back around but did not stop. I wasnt trying to race i wanted to meet the person.

I dont ever race cars i know that will waste my like a trans am did once...i didnt want to race but he kept egging me on so i said what the hell, give it a try...from a stop..this was back when i was running 15.1, (before FIPK, cams and x-pipe)..i hung with him til like 30..then it was over...now i could maybe til like 40! lol..but i dont think it was stock. I finally got to race an SRT-4 this morning. We started at about a 55 mph roll and I stayed with him for a few seconds and then he walked me to a 100. I just let off at that point. Next light I gave him a big thumbs up.

Damn, I hope our aftermarket will allow us to compete with these cars because at this point, we cannot.

you must remember stock with a bosot controler they can run up the HP number like crazy. A few minor mods like injectors and wastegate better tubing and watch the bigger number roll around. We dont have much room to grow on the current supercharger. So untill we see a m90 or m112 adapted its unlikly to keep up in terms of mods. there is a 03 srt-4 in my area I can own though. His buddy make me feel like an ass though. his friend has a blue 04 with 4++ to the tires that is insane. Its like us racing a semi.

lol i have had an incident like that b4... i was eattin a double qp/w cheese and it was good yes i was drivin ... then a cavalier pulled up next to me .. luckily i dont have a manual tranny or i would of died heh... so did she well we are both stock ... i know her for school... and well we went from a dead stop... )(i have a stock 04 saturn ion ... not redline)( but ya wooot

Didn't the guys at psi fi say they were planning on getting 20psi from the stock sc?

You're lucky then. All of the SRT-4's here in houston want a piece of a Red Line. It's like a rite of passage or something.
