Anyone know where I can get a replacement torx bolt for the ignition cover plate? One of mine stripped this last time that I changed out the spark plugs. I had to use a Dremel to create a groove in it to use a regular screwdriver. While it is still usable I'd rather not rely on it. I've found similar looking bolts on GM parts sites but not the correct one.

I am sure you could get it from a local dealer or local hardware store.

Went to the dealership today and they said it is a discontinued part. He did give me the name and number for a dealership in LA that has a few. Apparently there is like 12 left in the world.

They should have also been able to give you the basic bolt info so you could go to a hardware store and find a replacement. If you have problems let me know i will see what i can dog up for replacement for you

I have a bolt that got frozen in place and had to cut a slot in the head and use a big screwdriver to get it removed. I was going to take a good bolt to the hardware store and find either a replacement or 4 new matching bolts.
