i dont actually have a redline but i have a cavalier that has the standard ecotec engine in it. ive been poking around this site for a while and finally activated my account. anywayz, i want to supercharge my cav but gm is taking forever to come out with their s/c so i was wondering if anyone knew that gm or saturn part number for the supercharger itsself. any help is greatly appreciated. thanx.

It'd be easier just to go through an Eaton dealer for the M60.

id be better if u sold that peice of garbage and bought a redline

You cant just throw a supercharger on any motor. If you try to add any unit such as the M60 or M90 from a Grand Prix its going to involve some custom parts or heavy modification just to get it to attach to the motor. If your going to go this route, take everyones advise and trade it or sell is and get a redline. The cost to get a Supercharger and install it and everything else you need to make it work properly and well, in the long run will cost more than a redline. Not to mention the 2.2 L ecotec with the supercharger yeilds less HP than the redline with a 2.0.

if u arent going to answer my quetion then why post. im not getting a damn redline!!!! im already at about 165 whp n/a with the mods i have in my cav. the cav costed me about 7000, about 1200 for the mods i have now. thats 8200. how much is a redline again?? 16k or something like that so how is this gonna cost me more than a redline?? ill just stick with what im already working on. i could spend that extra 8000 on a nasty turbo setup and own all of yous.

just playin guys

but seriously does can any one help me out??

the only diffs that i have found between the L61(2.2) ad the LSJ(2.0 s/c) is the bore and stoke but dont quote me on that. HCI put the s/c off the redline onto an L61 in one of their issues so it should work.
