Hey guys,
I've contacted blackcatcustom.com about getting a custom gauge cluster for the saturn and he told me that he would give me one for free if I were the guinea pig and sent him in mine to use as a template. Being the team player that I am, I've decided to go for it. All I need now is to figure out what we would want him to do as a custom Redline design. I'm welcoming all suggestions. He said he could do pretty much anything we want....please post your thoughts guys as this is a new step in Redline after market products.

Custom Gauges Ideas

Wow... that's great news!

Here are some suggestions:
x 1. Swap RPM and Fuel Gauge (who hasn't thought of this?)
x 2. Boost Gauge
x 3. Driver Information Centre Display
4. Configurable Colour Backlighting
5. Saturn or Red Line graphics (perhaps work the curve of the Saturn logo into a dial?)
6. Chrome Rings
7. Multi plateau dials (eg. Corvette)

although the swapping and the boost gauge all would be pretty cool, i think we're talking more of a design structure on the gauges themselves. Basically im sending him my gauge faces to use and hes going to create something new and different for the saturn. So bascially the placement of the gauges will be the same but the look of them will be different. So I think those are the suggestions we really need right now.

AWESOME! I would like to see blue tint so that we can still use factory lighting, the LEDs were a great Idea but they didn't turn out to well unfortunately. As for logoes Maybe the saturn symbol or REDLINE somewhere in the blade runner font or something along those lines iono I'm drawing blanks right now on ideas SOMEONE ELSE HELP! haha

On the bigger gauges why not have Saturn Redline put on it? I like the idea of changing the tint on it so it's more of a blue color, not wasting time on changing bulbs.

thats a good idea, i think a blue tint would be really cool and why not have redline right across the damn front....keep them coming, i really want this to look awesome so we have something nice to look at every time we're pushing 140

Someone, or someones should come up with a single design, or like 2 or 3 at most. Something you could draw or photoshop, and give him a good solid idea of what we're looking for. If someone can re-arrange the dash for us, that would be AWESOME. I don't need anything REAL fancy, but I don't mind some flash.

Yeah if anyone is good with some photoshop taht would be really cool. I don't know if we can really rearrange the gauges or convert them into anything else. I think only visuals.

I would prefer the speedo had more ticks in it if you know what im getting at. I think it looks better that way. Also i would like to see a gauge face done in white back lighting, not just clear but a white.

nice keep the ideas coming, i think a redline logo should be on it somewhere....i think we can submit a few ideas to blackcatcustom and he will make a few options

i dont really like it but i did it kinda fast and it looks it

the redline in the speedo looks in the wrong place but i did it there so it would line up with the actual redline

let me know what u think and i dont care if its bad just let me know how to make better
